I love smoothie bowls, they are my absolute favourite way to start my day. Smoothie bowls are packed with nutrition, a perfect combination of protein, carb and fat to break the eight hour long fast. Smoothie bowls are totally customisable as per your taste. I like to add fresh green leafy veggies to my smoothies in this way we can get all the benefits from green leafy veggie without even tasting them. For the toppings I have used homemade granola, sliced apples, goji berries and almonds.
In this smoothie bowl I have used apple. Apples are extremely rich in important antioxidants, flavanoids, and dietary fiber. The phytonutrients and antioxidants in apples may help reduce the risk of developing cancer, hypertension, diabetes, and heart disease. For healthy fats I have used flaxseed. Flax Seeds are high in omega-3, which helps to reduce inflammation in our body. For greens I have used kale and as we all know kale is an excellent source of vitamin K, vitamin C, vitamin A, manganese, and copper; a very good source of vitamin B6, fiber, calcium, potassium, vitamin E, and vitamin B2; and a good source of iron, magnesium vitamin B1, omega-3 fats, phosphorus, protein, folate, and vitamin B3.
