Smoothie bowls are creamy, cold, and thick enough to eat with a spoon just like ice cream. And preparing this blueberry smoothie bowl is very simple, you just need to use frozen blueberries and banana and half cup of your favourite milk. Blend them together and this will result in nice thick smoothie, which you can transfer to a bowl and top it with all your favourite toppings.
In this smoothie bowl, I have used one of my favourite fruit blueberries. Blueberries are one of the most nutrient-dense foods in the world and contain large levels and a broad range of antioxidants. So this smoothie bowl is the perfect way to start your morning. For the toppings, I have used strawberry and hemp seeds. Strawberry compliments nicely with the flavour of blueberry. Adding hemp seeds add good healthy fats and also pump up the protein content. This blueberry smoothie bowl is great as a post workout meal as I have used protein powder.
Blueberry Smoothie Bowl Recipe
- 1 Cup Frozen blueberry
- 1 Scoop Protein powder
- ½ CupAlmond milk
- 1 Tablespoon Hemp seeds
- Hemp seeds
- Step 1 Add the blueberry, almond milk, hemp seeds and protein powder to the pitcher of a blender and blend.
- Step 2 Transfer to a bowl, add toppings, and enjoy with a spoon!.
