I love pineapple, they are fresh and juicy and they taste amazing. So I decided to combine it to one of my all time favourite breakfast Smoothie Bowls. I love eating Smoothie Bowls for breakfast, because they are super simple and easy to make plus you can use any fruit of choice to make them. So this time I decided to use Pineapple. Along with pineapple, I am using bananas because they gives nice creamy texture. For toppings, I have kept it very simple, just Organic Goji Berries, Raw Organic Chia Seeds and Whole Natural Almonds.
Pineapples are a delicious tropical fruit that have been celebrated for centuries not only for their distinct and unique taste, but also for their seemingly miraculous health benefits. Their health and medicinal benefits include their ability to improve respiratory health, cure coughs and colds, improve digestion, help you lose weight, strengthen bones, improve oral health, boost eye health, reduce inflammation, prevent cancer, improve heart health, fight off infections and parasites, improve the immune system and increase circulation.
Along with fruits, I have added protein powder to my Smoothie Bowl, because I was having this as my pre-workout meal. Adding chia seeds and almonds provide heart healthy fats. Also if you have seen my other smoothie bowls, you might have noticed that I like to add goji berries as toppings for my smoothie bowls. Low in calories, fat-free, a good source of fiber and a high-antioxidant food, goji berry benefits include the ability to help you fight disease, effectively manage your weight and experience better digestion.
